Could anyone point me in a direction to find a used hi/lo cable for a 7520? They want $460 for a new one. Thanks Kevin

If you GOOGLE "DEERE AR53115" you will find some sources, new and used. Worthington lists a used one for $110.00.

One the other hand, unless it's a really god used one is it gonna be any better than what you have?

If you GOOGLE "Custom-made Morse cables" or "Custom-made Push Pull cables" you will find lots of sources with which to check if they can make what you need and pricing.

I would also try Baum Hydraulics, as they can supply certain control cables. 1-800-228-9222

IIRC, one end is threaded and the other has a 90? "pin" that uses a cotter pin. You could sub a standard cable threaded at both ends combined with a clevis.

Yes that cable is rediculuous for a tractor that old. I had the same problem a few years back on a 7520. I ended up calling a salvage yard who had a 8630 cable that was close to the right lenght. I want to say I had to modify it slightly on one end but it saved me a ton. I think I gave $40 for it. There are several places that could duplicate your old cable but would still cost a couple hundred bux easy. That is a long thick cable so I am sure it would cost. I had a custom 3ft throttle cable made for my 6030 that cost me over $100 if that gives you any ideas.
