JD2010 gasser

Were they positive or negative ground?

Finally got some time to work on the thing and I am to the point of lighting the fire.
Bought the thing two years ago with the following: cracked block, cracked front bolster, frozen 3 pt cable, cracked cowl, 3 pt lever broken, power steering motor leaked, Intake tube from cleaner to carb missing, PTO shield bracket bent, PTO shield missing, 3 pt return springs missing, nut stripped on the left front spindle, exhaust pipe rotted out.

Fabricated a new 3 pt lever and exhaust pipe. Deere wants $218.28 for the lever, made one for maybe $5 in materials.
The exhaust pipe with heat shield is NLA so fabricated that as well. Maybe $50 in that.

Once back together, run it a bit to check for leaks, etc and next summer, paint.

I drove the neighbor's 2010 when it was new and this one is a trip down memory lane. I ran into the neighbor's son and asked if he still had the McCormick 80 pull type combine....yes he does. Will do a few acres of oats next summer with the 2010 and the 80 just like times gone by. Can't wait......
