wireing harness John Deere 70 D

Looking for a used but good wire harness for a John Deere 70 Diesel, with a pony engine. (Serail number 7041501) I need it to be compelete because i do not have one for this tractor due to it being in a flied fire many years ago. thanks please write back if you have one. Brent

With so few of colors used.. A John Deere Wireing Book & whats left of the
old harness. Make it. I've done a 730D, 60, M, 2-A's was asked where I bought
the wireing harness.. I made them....

Very reasonable prices. Any used harness will be 60 years old with brittle insulation.

Brillman makes a very high quality harness with all the labels on the wires. Very easy process to install pre-cut to the correct lengths with corrects ends.

Brillman has them for $135 plus shipping. If you know where all the wires go, you can do it yourself for less than $20. Make sure you have a good ignition switch and a good "push button" switch for the fuel gauge. The contacts in the original ignition switches are normally dirty/corroded and will give you problems. A good 3 terminal push button switch is necessary for the generator and fuel gauge connections.
