will an LUC power unit radiator fit a LA

Just wondering if an LUC power unit radiator will properly fit a LA
I have looked at the parts book and it is a different part number.
what is the difference.
Im trying to help out a friend with a bad LA radiator. got a LUC parts
engine. wanted to talk to someone who has went through this process
before pulling out the power unit radiator. thanks for any help.

Well yes and no. You will also need the larger diameter upper and lower castings that bolt onto the engine block from the LUC. That is the difference. The LUC radiator uses larger inlet and outlets.
I put the LUC engine that I rebuilt that was just sitting around and the radiator from same unit into my LA a few years back.

Hey thanks alot mike, I didnt want to get into a lot of wrenching without knowing what to look for.
really appreciate the advice, I will pass it onto the LA owner and we will go from there.

Mike is correct and i also think their is a thicker rad core in the luc?? Just check it for fan clearance Chris Also JD-Addict do you want to sell a pair of your 700-22 turfs? I need a set email me it open
