Looking for '41 JD A head studs

Can anyone suggest where I can find nine 7 3/16" studs for a 1941 JD A? The local John Deere dealership has them for $37 each, looking for alternatives.
Thanks much

1940 to March of 1947 are the same. Lots of used ones around and if you need to have new I believe you can get them from MSC.

If my memory is right the treads that screw into the block are different from the end that the head nuts go on. I ran across this on my G. Maybe someone can chime in on this.

YF Got some from MSC Direct that were 8 inches long and brother put them in his CNC lathe and cut them to length. About $5 apiece. Higher tensile strength than Deere's so you can torque them to 150 ft lb rather than 125 ft lb. They are rolled so center is a little smaller than the cut ones. I put them in with Permatex NO. 2 in a 1945 A this summer and worked fine. Lynn

I have an "A" parts tractor I just took the head off of. I would be happy to part with the ones I have from that. Send me an email if you want them. Shipping is on you.
