My 3pt still won't work. I hope I have found the problem. If I hold #23 arm with my hand and move the lever #31 the shaft turns freely inside #23 arm. I suspect that this is not suppose to happen therefor everything is out of time. The IT manual shows how to time it but doesn't say where the gears #5 need to be when you time it. Am I getting close?

Tim S Just for the record, I put a gauge on the line that goes in the control valve. I had Standby pressure. Have no oil or pressure from the valve to the piston. Hooked a line from a remote to the piston. It worked fine. The problem is definitely in the control valve somewhere.

Jim When I read this my heart sunk LOL. Several years back that lever either broke off or just came off. Anyway, there is no lever there right now so I have no idea where it is setting. Will get one ordered cause I believe you may of hit it. What do you think, Is that the problem?

It very well could be...and it could have allowed the cam follower to get off the roller..

It may be possible that I have been putting the roller on the Load control arm itself and not the follower.

If the lever is not up into the valve correctly the hitch will not come up....and if the load lever is not in the correct place it will not come up..so with the lever handle gone who knows where the setting ended up...

Well put it in with roller on the follower (best I could Tell) had a pair of vice grips on the load control shaft. Tried it in different positions and still won't work. I will double check everything again but It looks like I may have to take it to John Deere :(
