Got a call from my brother who has a John Deere 302 Diesel industrial tractor that has developed what he thinks is a fuel issue. When the fuel tank is full it seems near normal for power and throttle response, but when the fuel level is low it will barely run, even with fresh fuel filters. My first thought was the primary fuel pump, if it has one, has lost pressure, but he didn't think it had a primary pump. I've been turning wrenches for the better part of 50 years, but I know nothing about these tractors. I figured someone one here may have an idea ot two.
