R and P axles

What is meant by "R and P axles"? There is a photo in photo ads of a JD 60 Standard high seat with R and P axles. Never heard that phrase before.

Yes that is what I meant. It is my ad. I thought that is what they are called. Please correct me if there is different lingo for them.
 
Pevious posts are correct. The wheel spacing is adjustable by loosing the bolts that clamp the rim to the axle and then turning the pinion bolt -looks like a small gear- which runs in grooves on the axle (rack)

They clamp the wheel to the axle, not the rim to the axle. I was thinking of the front axle when I read the ad and didn't realize the reference was for the rear axles.
 
why not just say rack and pinion Cannot understand why folks want to just use letters for words. R and P could mean anything ROCKS and PAPER how about scissors
