'51 A, brackets

Can someone tell me what these brackets are for? Bolted to the side of the drawbar frame, 3/4 tapped hole in the offset.

Note the two support drawbars (Key 1).

Not quite, James. These are on the sides of the drawbar support. The offset it to the front. They were used to mount the push bars of a home-built snow blade. I'm thinking they're too thick to have been home built and wondering what they would be for. Thanks for trying.
 
It appears that the factory drawbar frame has been moved back. Indeed strange as to what the brackets might be for.

Does the ABG-90 push blade use anything like that?

When I was growing up if you ask my uncle what those were for he would of said "to make people ask questions"
