Yesterday I attended day 1 of the huge Rufus Kenagy estate sale near Garden City,MO..In over 50 years of attending farm sales it was the largest sale that I have ever attended...There was easily 10 acres with 10-15 of everything..Lots was used and abused...With scrap prices being way down it didn't bring what it would have 2 years ago..Its amazing how much one farmer can accumulate..

There was lots of JD machinery...The 6-8-12 row JD planters were fairly nice but didn't sell that good..Pictures and prices of the combines are at the ytmag combine forum..

1-4630 JD-$11,000

2-4430 JD with loader- $11,000

3-4020 JD PS-$7100

4-7520 JD -$3,800

5-5020 JD with loader -$5300-ran nice

6-5020 JD with turbo-$2800-engine free-not running

7-5020 JD- $3750-ran

8-5020 JD-$3500-ran and had nice sheet metal

All (4) 5020's went to the same home..

9-1530 JD -$3750

Hey thanks alot for the pix and the auction info.
it kinda looks like a little wax and elbow grease would have made the prices a little higher.
the last 5020 sure looked like it would have cleaned up real nice.
it just goes to show you that keepin them inside and clean rewards you.

That 5020 has more then just a turbo. Looks like an complete engine transplant probably a 619.
