Flushing Powr-Trol in John Deere 60

I would like to flush the hydraulics on my 52' John Deere 60. What is the best way to do this and what product would you recommend to flush the powr-trol? I have noticed that the powr-trol does not seem to drain completely on my John Deere B even with the bottom pipe plug removed. Does anyone at the forum have any advice? Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Peter Markel

I'd drain & refill, wouldn't flush unless I had the whole thing apart....

I agree 100% with "rla".....drain oil and replace. I've worked on many Large WOODWARD UG8 Governors and hydraulic components. You flush and you shall move foreign material through the system...BAD NEWS!

Thanks for the advice. It's always good to hear from someone who has worked with these tractors before.
