JD 894 rake clips

I need some of the clips that hold the old style rake teeth (the ones with a coil spring on top), just a piece of stamped out metal. Does anyone have a junk rake with them on it? Also I see New Holland uses the same type but I don't know if they will fit or not I've been using the new type with the rubber on top but they don't last, the rubber rots.

That is the problem, looking at close to $1800 to replace them all. I can get the New Holland ones from nnalert for $6.98 for a pack of 10. Doesn't make any sense. Does anyone know if they are the same as JD?

you can make them fairly easily. This was part of the reason I started using rubber teeth again. You can get rubber ones pretty cheap on internet, but I don't have any problem in my area with them rotting off.

I should have a bunch of them around here and some on a parts rake. I see you said you ordered some but if you still need them let me know and I'll see if I can put my hands on them.

That would be great if they work out ok for me I will replace the whole of them as the old ones fail. Broke 12 of them this summer. I have bought 15 of the old style teeth to try, they are about half the cost of the rubber ones. I think the new rubber ones are made in China so they are junk.

I had a bucket with a bunch of the doubles in it. I can't find it. I'm wondering if they went with the rake when I sold it. My parts machine ended up having the rubber mounted ones. Sorry I couldn't help you.
