JD 70 gas

1953 70 gas many hours ,using with rotary mower tractor started shaking, viberating, cut off mower, did not help with shaking disengaged clutch to change gears shifted from 2nd gear to 4th re engaged clutch tractor shut off any ideas with shaking?

sounds like flywheel side or clutch side is not timed,could have been sheemed at one time and they might have feel out or worn out no telling what?unless you bought tractor new you will not believe what some people do to get by.,

I had a similar problem with mine and a taper lock flywheel fixed it.
