I wanted to attend the sale last weekend at Meridian Equipment in Rockford, but couldn't due to the 50 yrs of progress show. Did anyone go and if so how did things sell? Specifically I'm interested in the plows.

Hey Tyler,...I don't think I'll pass these results on to that buddy of mine that bought that 810 trash plow a couple weeks back. He's still a little bitter about it after looking it over closer, but like they say buyer beware! That one #44 has the type of conversion I want to put on mine, at least that one doesn't appear to stick out past the hitch like the one I looked at would have.

You're right about buyer beware. If he wants to sell the plow, I'd be interested as I've been looking for one of those for quite awhile. I'm not sure if it
could be fixed, but it might be worth a shot for my collection. A buddy of mine will be traveling through your area sometime in the next month or so.

Ill mention it to him but I doubt he'd let it go, he's been looking for one to display with his 730 for quite a while.

whats with all the tractors listed " not running ". Some of them look like they are pretty good shape. Bill

We've got parts / advice from them before.
He had a pretty good sized "bone yard"/ collection.
Some were probably just not gotten to. It's a shame Deere forced him to close several years ago. It was a nice mom n pop dealership, but we all know how Deere feels about those...
I would have liked to go, but no money and we're thinking of reducing, not increasing.

Got a question about those sale results: Did someone really pay $2300.00 for two empty 55gal oil barrels????

I have an 810 series plow 4x14" in good condition that I'd trade for his 810 trash plow. It's correct for the 730 and wouldn't need any major work to go to the
field.

WOW! Those prices on (a few of them at least) were crazy high. $4,000 for a 4 bottom pull type F6x0!

Not too many bargains missed; good thing I stayed at the 50 yrs of progress show.
