JD 730 diesel standard value

I just purchased a John Deere 730 Diesel Standard with electric start . It has been repainted and worked on 2 owners back . Supposedly the injectors have been open to the 830 specs ?? There are no oil leaks and the oil pressure is good . I replaced the nonworking tach which had 8000 hrs on . There is no 3 point but has remotes . The clutch is in real good shape and the power steering runs true and works great . Pto works , there is really nothing wrong and it looks good but not show perfect as the tin has dings but good paint .It looks like the original style rear rubber is still on but the front are new . If I am correct it used to have a pony but was changed to a 24v electric start . A friend who knows a little about these says its the actual JD starter system not an aftermaket??? Anyways I am very happy with tractor and think I got a bargain at 7900.00 . I was wondering if I am correct or not . Even if I overpaid please tell me as I wont care cause I am happy . :) Just want your opinion .

The time to research price is before you buy :) You're happy now so that's all that matters. By the way, I think the "diesel" decal is in the wrong place and I'm no fan of straight exhaust. What's your location?

If you paid too much can you return it??? If you paid too little are you going to resell it???

If the FLYWHEEL is tight on the Crankshaft and no noise in the transmission you done well.....:) I like the looks of your beauty
Bob.....

Well I think you done good, I think it's well worth it. Handsome tractor, handsome. Try to buy something like that for that money new, anywhere.

Oh, why not..ya can't hear them run with a muffler on them..

Now, a Gas 2-Cylinder can be a different story (620/630)...!!!

Pto shield is missing and the front tires are too short. Pull the flywheel cover and make certain somebody did not weld it onto the crank. Does the hood have the door to access the starting engine? Two "starting" levers on the left front of the platform? I drop the price about 3 thousand when they have been converted to electric. How much battery is in it? The tractor still has the small diesel battery box.
