Hi - had enough trouble getting my neighbor's crawler started that I decided I might consult the internet.
replaced the ignition coil, rotor, points, condenser - have consistent spark
cleaned out the carb, rebuild kit is on its way in the mail.
can sometimes get it to pop with ether (spraying tons directly into the cylinder or continuously spraying it into the intake)
it seems that it's having a hard time getting fuel/expels before combustion.
Timing should be alright - have a JD M for reference. points are gapped to .020.
what do you guys think?
