5520 Fwd-N-Rev PowrReverser Cable Adjustment + Cltch Pedal

We are installing a new fwd/neutral/rev cable on a 5520 open platform tractor with the powrreverser transmission.

Other than making sure that full range of travel of the hand control lever & corresponding shaft/arm on the side of the transmission are correct, is there any other adjustment needed?

Also, if there is a lack of movement of the tractor when reverser hand control lever is in forward position, tractor is stopped, clutch pedal is being released, until almost the "top" of the clutch pedal travel...then movement begins...is that an adjustment issue?

I have TM2048, but not TM2049...

I should add that the tractor came in for repair due to the complaint that the tractor would sometimes not move when put in forward/reverse with reverser control lever. We inspected & found a damaged reverser cable.

The operator added the information that it also felt like the tractor would not move until the clutch pedal was almost all the way released, and movement feels delayed/slow in forward...movement in reverse is sudden/abrupt.

This could have been a symptom of the damaged reverser control cable.
