620 shift forks

could someone describe, or better yet post a picture of the position the shift forks need to be in to get the shifter and quadrant back onto a 620? replaced the shift ball and gasket and having a hard time getting things lined back up. thanks.

If your issue is can't cross shift from hi to low side of tranny
your hi/low shifter is in the wrong position when your
installing the quadrant. Remember there are two balls on
your shifter, with the angle of the shifter one thinks that
it should be one position when it really should be in the other.

just line up the 3 slots. Your shifter will fall into the neutral slot then.
