I just heard from somebody that JD was going to retool the production line and built a 4WD model 60. Since their prototype was so well received.........................

Tim,
I'm not a green person as you know Tim,But that really looks good. Hope to stop in after harvest this year I'll call first.

Thanks,, this is a barn that was built by Donour,,he was a local barn builder with his own design, and it is a good design,,there are a few dozen of them in this area all near the same size, his options were with or with out the rear shed, and with or with out some bark showing on the beams, he was one of the first to use a cement footer to build on this one was built in 1932 and has some bark showing and has the rear shed. Here are a few pics of it,, we still use it for hay/straw storage, it is not a big barn, and holds about 2500 bales on each side..The really nice "big" barns are in north western Ohio..

Tim,

I've admired all your fine work on these tractors, though I don't say much. They're even better in person when I see them ( at Springfield)

I tip my hat to your fine engineering, and great attention to detail as well, some of the best stuff I've seen. I like original tractors. I like tractors modified for specific uses. Your tractors seem to match the best of both worlds, something that Deere would definitely make if they had even considered it.

I might need to get the MFWD hooked up on the DI

The turning radius is OUTSTANDING!!!! Looks Great!

In all the prev. pictures you've posted recently these are the first of the complete installed transfer case / drive side.
Knowingly this is more of s show than work machine I feel it may be very surprising in it's work cloths or in the field. It
very hard to build/rebuild or restore a machine & then use it for work. To each his/her own & I respect the owners decision
for I know the labor & passion of their work. Personally I can't just look at it, I must use it. Since we farm with many of
the 2 cylinder models still, the pain staking work & effort to rebuild/rework & paint I applied gets worn off. Even though I
feel they still look good when they are clean, they become less show worthy.

Tim knows I add my 2 cents, some of my questions are dumber than a box of rocks, but I'm always thinking while at work after
seeing his creations. Maybe viewed as a critic which I feel I am not. I am somewhat sure Tim isn't completely done with the
tractor & will add a few more items, He worked hard just to get it together & able to demo & show it off which he should be very
proud of the end result, one that many will talk about & maybe copy in the future on a different breed or model.

All of our 2 cylinders we mount & dismount ahead of the left rear tire, using the John Deere Step, I think a step there is in the
future plans with a brace, maybe not? It would be duck soup for him & his caliber quality design. Shielding for the drive yokes of
the front shaft to prevent hay/long grass wrap. I just know what ever he decides the end result will look like it came out of the
factory. Tim has my & many others 5 star rating. Congratulations of a Job Well Very done.

How many out there stack small squares on the bottom and how many stack them on the side as shown ?

First row gets stacked cut side down if on dirt, the rest on their side.
