Hi all--well, taking off loader, [JD E0480] tag sez--looks like take out 2 bracket bolts & back away from--but, should I curl the bucket, leave it flat, put some dirt in it, find a tree, etc ?? just don't know what to expect when loader clears brackets. I know about using hyds. to raise up from brackets after the bolts are out, but this thing looks awful back heavy. On a good note, just got thru whipping the 24v problems--archives gave all the info! appreciate you folks knowledge.

Assuming you have a 48 loader?
Do you have the stands?
Leave bucket flat. Remove those bolts.
Raise loader to attach stands then lower
the loader til stands contact ground.
Remove the pin from front mounting bracket
and back away.

stands missing. tried to find where they would hook up. but not sure. prob, gonna try hi-lift jack & fab whatever for one side. thanks.

A good stout tree limb or A-frame utilizing a chain hoist is far safer than hi-lift jack!!!!!!

They bolt on the same holes that the loader bolts to the mounting frames.
A sink hole is a good place for that handy-man jack.
