The problem started with no lift for the loader. Replaced the control cable and loader control valve [AW27446]. Loader works okay, but no steering unless holing the loader control is in the raise position. Removed loader valve and installed the old valve. loader works great, but no steering. there is a small flat disk [R95493] that goes in the side of the valve near the spring and plunger. What is the function of that disk and is that disk needed for the three point valve, loader lift valve and bucket valve??? I can not figure what I am doing wrong. Your help is deeply appreciated. That small flat disk is called a dime valve. You need them in the correct places or you will have functions not work like you have. I would need to look at a tech book to tell you actually where they need to be. Some one that has installed a loader valve more recently may remember where they need to be. I dropped one when overhauling a valve stack one time and it took me a while to figure out what I had done.
