Took the little "H" to Grand Detour, Il for the Green Iron Days Event held last weekend on the site of John Deere's original blacksmith shop and where he made his first plow. It's a beautiful area and is well suited for a show. Around 100 tractors were displayed.
The weather held nicely for all three days and we had a great time.
The entrance to the grounds
John Deere's actual house on the grounds.
The re-created blacksmith shop that where demonstrations are given all day.
A Statue of John Deere hammering on his anvil with my little "H" in the background.
