Deere 2510 steering problem

Been working on a john Deere 2510 gas with about 4000 hours on it. The steering has always been perfect. Now it ratchets or jerks when turning right and will do it left some times too. Lifting the front end off the ground and operating the steering it make strange sounds now and jerks / hesitates going right and now stiffens up going left. Oil is new and full. No oil leaks that I know of.

any idea's gentlemen? Could this be the steering valve?

Yes the 3 point works but is kind of sluggish! Good power though and always settles down. Will remain up with tractor running. It has a small loader on it and it has great power! Lifted the front off the ground with ease.

(quoted from post at 22:15:32 08/02/15) I was thinking that! It just started doing this like a switch was tripped.

How is loader plumbed to tractor? It's possible the pressure control(priority) valve under hood is blocking some flow & pressure to 3 pt hitch.
