Backward Roll-O-Matic

Anyone have any idea why the roll-o-matic would be backward facing on a 1961 4010? I've seen this one other time on a two-cylinder, I believe a model A, but I cant remember why I was told it was put on that way. Anyone here know? Thank you in advance.

The one I saw that way I figured whoever had it apart before didn't know any better.
I imagine with certain things like a cotton picker ? you run around backwards with it might be needed backwards.

The pin between the pedestal and the Rolla-matic has been incorrectly replaced and/or the pins have sheered letting the Rolla-matic turn. I have seen the pins sheer at the rivet and when the pedestol turns the shaft settles down into the old pin grove . owner surely would have noticed this . Some day it will fall off .
