Smaller front wheels for 60 puller

I would like to put smaller wheels on my 1953 60 narrow front gas tractor . I want to lower it a couple inches. Does anyone know of a compatable 6x12 or 6x13 wheel that would fit it? It has rollamatic pedestal. Thanks

This could be a really dumb idea: Can you slip the engagement of the Roll-A-Matic arms by a few gear teeth to lower the front end?

I put small "doughnut" car spares on my G. I don't remember how we got the bolt pattern right. Can't seem to find a photo of it right now, but they lower the front several inches.

Found one.

Do you have 6 bolt hubs? Did they come from a specific vehicle, or did you find them in pile at the junkyard?

Wheels for a MT, 40 with 4.00or 4.50x15 tire work nice. Any thing smaller then 15"
wheels look goofy (my 2 cents), a nonroll matic will lower your front & loose a couple
pounds at same time.

Ever thought about a 'single front'. If you have a convertible pedestal, might be the way to go. Wheels are 2 piece and range from 10" - 16". Just sayin'. HTH

It is possible to drop the front of a roll o matic by clocking the arms down. While this will drop the front end down a fair amount, it also makes it nearly impossible to steer because it sets one tire ahead of the other. It isn't terrible going one direction, but the other is really in a bind. Been there tried that!

Thanks for your idea. I am going to try it and see if one notch will still allow me to steer safely. I live 2 miles from the local pulling track and don't have a trailer heavy enough to haul my tractor, so I drive it there. Push come to shove, I sure one of my pulling buddies would haul me. Thanks again.

A friend has loaned me some wheels and tires off his M, and they dropped the front about 2.5 inches. I think they'll be fine. If so, i'll need to find some of my own. Thanks
