I recently got my 720d standard out of the shop to play with before the upcoming show in two weeks and I went to put the tractor in 4th then 5th gear and finally 6th and noticed right away that it was going thru the low side gears and speeds. With that said the guy I bought it from said form time to time it would not go into high range.... I can see where someone has ground the shifter pattern plate at the base where the shift rod runs for some reason.,. I'm guessing it has to do with getting the gears to work. Does anyone have a picture of a 720d trans without the shifter assembly on so I can see what is going on in there and if it a common thing and hopefully simple to fix.
