breaking up

1952 A. at about 1/4 throttle it will pull real strong. at 1/2 throttle it starts to break up and if I open it up, it almost falls on it face. I went thru the carb last year and am confident its o.k. was thinking along the lines of not getting enough fuel. anyone be able to explain the carb load adjustments.

I would check the fuel tank outlet. I've seen many times where a piece of rust gets into the nipple of the fuel shut-off , causing poor fuel flow

Not saying others are wrong but check your timing advance , if it's not working properly it could lose power and fall on its face at higher rpm.

It is most likely your coil or condenser. Tractor will run great at an idle. As you increase the RPM's it puts a greater demand on these two items. I would start with the condenser.
