oil pressure 45 B

Im at a loss. I have NO oil pressure to the gauge. The gauge works on another tractor. I turned up the oil pressure screw on top of the oil filter housing, replaced a missing o-ring in the pipe from the pump to the filter, changed the old filter for a brand-new one, cleaned off the screen on the pump, ensured the pump was spinning from the camshaft, SIIIIGGGGHHH. I don't know what else to change, check, or adjust. I've run down the stuff the manuals say to do.
Ive belted up to another tractor to turn the engine over, and it does so easily. I just cant get any oil out of the oil pressure gauge tube. I can blow through it and hear bubbles down in the case so I assume it is not blocked.
What am I missing. I know enough to know to ask for advice. What am I missing, Yall?

You haven't said if you had this tractor apart or if it's new to you. Did you change the gasket on the oil pump? It's a critical thickness.

Well if the couple is there & the pump shaft is turning like it should.

& since the shaft is turn the Gears Should be also, I'be checking inside pump house to be sure.
Gasket thickness is critical.
The only other source of the problem is the oil isn't getting to the pump or the filter housing
is cracked. You said you could hear bubbles but where are they coming from?

Looking at it with fresh eyes this morning I saw that the pressure regulator casting that sits on top of the oil filter has a big old (1/8th inch) crack in it at the top. Splits the right front third nearly off in fact. I rekon it must have froze up some condensation at some point and cracked that casting. I'm going to replace it if I can find one around here close to replace it with.
I will keep yall posted.

I tried to post a picture of the big old crack in the regulator. It is just to the top of the flat spring there at the left center of the pic. It splits that bolt hole and runs up the top third of the casting.
That cant be good for it

On this model does that sit right on top of the oil filter can ? If so crack was likely caused by an overtightened oil filter cap.

So I bought a new old stock piece on the internet, it will be next week before it gets delivered, so I guess I will have to piddle on something else till then.

Well I did get the pic to post in the Parts and Pieces gallery here on this site. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to post em here on the forum.
