2510-4020 diesel 12 volt batteries

I quit using Deere batteries years ago because of the price and they didn't seem to last any longer than less expensive brands.
Generally a dry charge battery should outlast a wet one especially if the distributor doesn't keep the stock rotated. There is
a little white sticker on the battery with a letter and number indicating mfg date. I get mine directly from a distributor so
don't have that problem
Many battery dealers will try to sell you a 3EE battery instead because they stock them to undersell the competition's 3ET. Never
allow that to happen. NAPA here is very bad about stocking lower amp batteries for all applications. But they will order what you want.
Which means you will also have to wait if you need a replacement later.
As far as brands go, I think Exide still makes Deere's batteries but that might have changed.
I would suggest shopping for best price and dealer not necessarily brand. Also watch those cold cranking amps. Deere's might be nearer 500.

We always run Deere batteries (strongbox)as I got tired of changing batteries all the time from the local parts store yes they are a little more costly but in our applications they seem to hold up well even in our winters
