1937 JD A PTO Tube Cover

Does anybody know if my '37 JD A had a PTO tube cover instead of a shield. It's a sn 462,8XX. It has a shield on it now and I know from that Specialized A book that it supposedly has the tube.

Also, does the flange, with the 3 bolt holes for the cover, have it cut off straight above the 2 bolt holes? Like the flange isn't a complete circle, it has a straight edge above the 2 holes?

I see a reputable place that sells them like this...

Anybody at least have a picture or can take one of the appropriate PTO cover?

I have gotten a tube cover. I just need to figure out how to get the shield mount off, 3 bolts, what I need in it's place to prevent leaking, and then install the cover.
