question

I made my own clamshell fenders, couldn't afford the real ones. You might consider it. Some flat steel panels, some 1" EMT tubing notched and bent arund the top, vertical braces, my so-so welding, looks better and huskier than the real ones. heavier, stiff as can be, rigid, get lots of compliments.
