John Deere 302a hydraulic drain location?

I need to drain the hydraulic fluid on my JD 302a back hoe. Where is the drain? My back is a bit wrecked and climbing around it is a bit tough. Also how do you do a complete flush? There will still be fluid in the lines. Thanks.

Drain plugs are parts key 19. It is very difficult to get fluid out of all hyd components( pumps, valves & cyl's) short of several oil changes and cycling components between oil changes.

The where, what and whens are well illustrated and described in the operators manual.
The nice folks at 1-800-522-7448 have replacement manuals on CD and hard copy.
Parts book is free at the JD web site.

Dang b&d I would have thought your contract for posting JD's 800 phone # had expired by now.

With the slowing down of the farm economy I was thinking JD's "slush fund" was drying up!!!

Thanks guys. I'm going to go out and look at it right now. I couldn't find a parts list or anything online without
purchase. I plan on getting a manual but that doesn't help me right now. Again thanks.

thanks. It's the big nut under tranny next to the tank bottom thing in the pic? Also I assume when I pull the dipstick
and fluid pours out that it's over full lol. Do you know how much fluid should go back in when I fill it? I'm guessing it's
more than what I've found online as it separates the tractor and the backhoe for some reason.
