Model 70 getting oil in the clutch

I have a 1956 John Deere Model 70 that began throwing oil out of the clutch pulley. Is there a seal somewhere to prevent the oil from coming into the clutch?

Are you losing engine oil ? Could be the right hand crankshaft seal, or are you losing hydraulic oil? Could be pump seals. Could be overfull transmission . could be pto seals . Where are you adding oil will give you a clue .

Most all JD 2-cylinder tractors use a "Slinger" to keep oil inside the 1st Reduction cover.

Occasionally, it may be necessary to remove the Clutch-Drum and clean the channel behind it, there is a hole at the bottom of the channel to drain oil back inside..

There is NO actual "SEAL" on the Clutch side of the tractor to keep oil inside, the Slinger does that..
