Bullet light for M/MT

Does anyone have a pic that shows how the bullet light for a M or an MT mounts? Have the bracket and the light but not sure how it mounts and having trouble finding a good pic of it. I'm guessing somewhere on the seat bracket but not sure. Thanks in advance for any help!

Don't have a pic but the angle strap the bullet mounts to is wrapped around the left rear corner of the seat base. Both of mine line up along the bottom. Light stud just barely clears the frame on the inside.

Take a look at the photos below of "Rusty" one of our 1951 MTs.

Hope this helps.

How did you route your wire James? I sent mine on top of the TOM and down the side of the unit to join up with the lights on the fenders. From there it seems there is no good way to run it where my boot doesn't catch it while using the tractor. I feel as though I must be missing something!

Late M's had the wire routed different than early ones. Wire was re routed out the left of the dash and ran with the oil lines. There are very clear pics of both in the lighting section of the service manual. There's even an alternate mounting pic.

That's how I have it but more than once I have got it with the hook on my boot while getting on or off the tractor. I guess I need more zip ties.
