Pto shaft fork on unstyled a

Can someone send me a picture of which side of the sliding gear that engages the pto the shifter fork is on? I am trying to slide shaft in right side of tractor but couldn't remember if slot on gear for fork should be facing right or left.

I hope you got the answer to your question, but I never saw a reply in this or your other thread asking Tom.

I finally opened up a unstyled A tranny today while dismantling "Frankentractor", a very mysterious and abused unstyled A that had a solid seat mount on it.

The shift fork is on the right side (outboard). Here's a picture I took:
