having an issue I think with my 2510's 3 point. I put a bale mover on the bale (single bale) and can't pick it up. raises about 2 inches. Now if I back into a mound of dirt that "helps" to raise it, it will come up a little but not all the way, but it stays at that height. I'm guessing the bales weigh around 1400-1500 lbs. I first found this issue when trying to spray weeds. my 3 point sprayer holds 300 gallons of water and had to drain out 100 gallon to get it to raise.
I tested scv pressure last night, my gauge only goes to 2000 psi but when holding the scv lever I buried the needle plus a little bit more. when I let off the lever it went to 1800 psi.
the fact the 3 point stays up tells me my piston is not leaking by, but I did notice when empty, if I raise the 3 point, it will go all the way and then drop just a bit maybe an inch and then it stays there.
new filter, full on oil, screen was taken out and checked (did all that this spring). where do I go next? my book don't really say much and it's a jd book.
