I am about to put my clutch assembly back together this week. I have replaced all the parts including the bearing in the center of the clutch pulley. When I got it apart, I noticed that the inner race of the bearing was gone. After replacing the bearing, I have a question. In the center of the pulley there are some holes around the bearing. I assume that these holes allow oil to flow from the reduction cover area and lubricate the bearing? If that is the case should I grease the roller bearing prior to installation of the puller onto the crankshaft. When I rebuild machine tool spindles I normally put a match head sized dab of high end machine tool grease between each roller. Need some help here before I button everything up.
