Need Help on 1934 unstyled A information

I just bought a late 1934 open fan brass tag unstyled A.. I do not know a great deal about these tractors nor their options. I have looked threw most of my deere books but have gained little information. I would love to pick the brain of some one that knows them well. I am interested in factory hitch options, seat options, correct mag and carb and a few additional parts I can email or call.. my email is open I would appriciated any help..

You should get the unstyled A book by Wes Malcolm. That would answer all your questions

"A specialized look into the Unstyled Model A" is the title of the book. It's now out of print, but does pop up on eBay from time to time. Note that there were three editions (more info/corrections). If a fourth would have been printed, one of my tractors would be in there.

Wes is a fantastic guy and I'm very grateful to know him and a few Unstyled A guru's.

I have had numerous 34's and still have an early thin frame GP tagged one . If yours is a late 34 they were fairly well settled down change wise by then . Not the case with early ones though . I sent an email also and would be willing to help . As stated already Wes's book is a real good place to start . Dave
