'37 John Deere A Coolant Flush

Anybody have any ideas on flushing out a coolant system? It's on an unstyled JD A. I have the upper and lower coolant pipes off and the radiator off. It's pretty flakey inside the top engine water port and I'm sure in the water jackets as well, and radiator. I don't want to bake and blast the radiator or take apart the engine. The tractor is pretty original and the engine runs fine.

So, do I just flush the engine out thru the port on top of the engine with a garden hose and same with the radiator?

Thanks for the help!

Run water in from the top and then from the bottom until it finally runs clear..plenty pressure will help..probably a lot of debris laying in the bottom of the Block..

Some advise running White Vinegar in the cooling system to clean the system out once you have it back together, before adding Anti-Freeze..
