Installing 3pt to a wheatland 5020

Hi,
Looking at installing a factory 3pt to a wheatland 5020. Is this easily done? Is it just the top cover/rockshafts needed or is there more internals needed? Step by step would be great!

I'm not 100% sure on 5020 but on 4020 to install or replace L/D control mechanism one needs to R&R ring gear which includes R&R of rear axle housing.

when I worked for the JD dealer here some years back guy bought a 5020 with no 3 point and wanted one put on. Most of the parts had to be ordered individually and there were many, and then it was a lot oaf assembly when they all arrived. I don't remember the cost at the time but thinking around $5000. I suspect some of those parts may no longer be available as that was probably 30 years ago. Best option would probably to find a donnar.

Yes, we will be buying a top cover and whatever else we think we need for it. Just want to make sure we get everything in one go as it will be shipped to the UK.

You"ll need rear drawbar frame as most 5020 standards had wide swing drawbar frame..& hyd. lines/fitting to rockshaft valve ; & return oil line/fitting to left side of tran. .... L&D handle/linkage; All internal parts to operate L&D control!!.... [cable/holder clips & lever for dash] ??...

Got all that. Mainly worried that there's internal pieces that we don't know about to get it to function correctly.
