is this any indication of the year this unit was manufactured? I think its a 1952 but the serial number is not legible. anyone make any sense of this?????

that's the casting number. according to an ebay listing...

FOR MODEL A TRACTORS WITH S/N 584000 AND ABOVE. AR/AO S/N 279369 AND ABOVE. MODEL 60 S/N 584000 TO 6013899 WITH A SINGLE BARREL CARBURETOR. P/N AA4949R CASTING A4226R.
