Loose nozzles in duplex carb

Anyone ever seen the nozzles loosen up in their duplex carb! Don't know if ethanol ate at the nozzle gaskets ( they looked ok, been in there 7plus years) but something caused the nozzles to loosen up and back out as far as the screws that are over them! Thanks

I pulled some apart that way. I figured the last one in there did not get them tight enough ?

The last guy didn't tighten them enough. I've ran into it before. Ethanol wasn't even heard of then.

I have noticed a few that got loose. I think it speaks more of the quality of the previous rebuild rather than any fuel issues. Some gaskets in some kits are pretty poor quality. I've used old gaskets at times because of the poor quality of the new. Mike
