All,
I need to pull a 14 ft 1630 disk harrow plow down the road about 25 miles. Was worried at ~5500 # it might be a little bit heavy to put on a gooseneck for a koyker 510 on jd4430.
My question is about wheel bearings. I took off two of the 4 tires. Pulled off the castle nut and the hub did not want to come off. Looked closer and there was a snap ring on the front side of hub and back side of hub. Pulled those off and the hub still did not want to come off, despite some bumping it some with a hammer against wood.
QUESTION: How are these hubs removed?
Any guidance is appreciated.
