2cyl 830 spittin oil

just overhauled 830 es with std rings as the walls were what I thought were good to go. It now runs great and sounds good too. However it has plenty of blow by but the problem is it spits oil out of the crankcase vent that is on top of crankcase. The baffle is in place as there an oil storm above the rods. oil pressure gauge showed H so I dropped it down to M with no help. I know some work for it would be good. Any thoughts on this. Also connecting the batteries does the hot positive go on the solenoid or does the negative one go there. any info would be appreciated and thank you in advance, rambler man,

+ POSITIVE to STARTER
- NEGATIVE to SOLINOID on starter(same connection as BLUE WIRE)

(quoted from post at 19:08:45 05/16/15) You didn't by chance get the rings lined up with each other did you? That will cause blow by and other issues.
no I made sure they were staggered thank you rambler man

Might or might not be too late, but run it on a dyno under load for a while and perhaps it'll help seat the rings.

Using multi grade oil is not recommended on an overhaul. The polymers in the oil fill in the hone marks in the cylinder wall so the rings take longer or don't seat. Use JD break in oil hopefully your rings will still seat. The comment about temp to cool at 165 is right on, proper temp is very important during break in.

thanks to all who commented on the matter. just got back from a trip so will address the matter, thanks again rambler man
