4020 plowing with 202H plow

Nice,, I like the way they have the plots laid out,, I have seen some "Real Messes" at some plow days,, does that have some kind of rope trip to determain which side goes down, or does it cycle?

It just cycles on a cam system. Once the ram reaches its peak it trips over, allows the draw bar to swing to the other side and allows the other side to go down when the ram is let out again. Pretty clever thing, had plenty of people wondering how it worked!

I was looking for a rope pull,,and didn't see it,, I have never been up close to one of them, same with roll over plows there just weren't many around here, I found a 3 X14 mounted roll over to the south of me 20 miles, looks to be made in the 50's the roll over cylinder looks like the steer motor for a 2 cylinder,,not sure what the # is..

Man if that you make us want one nothing will , thanks for
the video. Nice plow and tractor too.

This isn't by chance the 202H 16" plow that was just imported to the U.K. last year? It sure looks familiar?

Hi Tyler,
Yes it is! Our friend brought it over in a container we organised. Unfortunately he has been taken ill (cancer) so we are storing it for him till he's better.

I wasn't sure about his health. Last I spoke with his John M.'s son he had a stroke so it sounded like it would take some time to recover. I
hope it made the voyage in good condition!

my email is open if you want to contact me for any questions about the plow.

i must say I'm not sure. There were a few walk behind self propelled things and some other small garden type machines. We just asked for a plot in the corner we could mess about with as we didn't know how it would go.

We weren't as pretty as anyone else there, but we went twice as deep and 10x as fast! It certainly is an effective plow once you've got used to turning it around and forcing the drawbar latch onto the other side.

I have a 202 plow that is rope trip. You are a very busy boy on the ends with pulling all the ropes! It's been a few years since I have been able to plow with it as the left hand shares are getting pretty worn. I was fortunate enough to fine ONE NOS left hand share but need another one. Another thing is it pulls like a boat anchor. I have pulled it (2-14's) with my 520 and it pulls as hard or harder than a 3-14" pull type with HS bottoms. Mike

Sure does pull! Our only other option for pulling it was a new gen 820, but we didn't think it was up to it. Be nice to go behind our 2520 once that's sorted.
