I bought a 430 F3 tag tractorforklift need info.

If anybody owns a F3 tag 430 I would like to talk you and get some more information.I do I have J.R. Hobbs book on the 430s.

I happened to find all the info. on pg. 36 of J.R. Hobbs 30 series book.The serial numbers for the forklifts are listed.

Congrats on the find. I know of a couple 420's and a 430 here in Oregon. The previous owners of the Deere dealer i work for actually have what may be the earliest 420 made. It predates the ones the JR had in his books. I talked to JR about it and its actually a 2T, or 2 ton capacity. Its very likely that its the machine in the pictures in his books that show one carrying logs around. I believe those pics were taken in Independance where HOLT's factory was.
