4020 HPSupply line

Is there a secret to removing the High pressure supply line that runs under the platform? I've been twisting and turning it the last half hour. Tempted to cut it off but if I can't figure out how to get the old one out I'll never get the new one in.

Also, I noticed at the back of the left hand battery box, there is a spring-loaded lever that looks like it has two adjustments on it right now it's in the back hole. Does anyone know what that's for? I can look it up in my shop manual but I thought maybe somebody might be able to save me the work. Thanks for any help.

it's a bunch easier to have a hydraulic hose made up and skip the pipe,,cheaper too, the lever your looking at is tow lever for the transmission..

Hallelujah I got the old one out and the new one In. Yeah I guess having a hose made up would be a lot easier I guess I should've asked before I bought the pipe. The tractor came from American foods in Idaho. They had disconnected all of the tow levers because one of the mechanics would have to go to the field because the driver couldn't get the tractor to move. They also had cut all of the foot accelerators off because one of the managers found that when the employees were coming home with the tractors they would hold the foot Excelerator's down so they could go little bit faster. Anyway it's really a great tractor. I have every receipt for the tractor from the day that American foods bought it. They had a shop that would make a John Deere dealer blush.

That's what the foot throttle is for isn't it ?
I thought it was set up to go just a little fast with it.

Well, it is but the farm manager just didn't see it that way. Must have thought it was hard on the tractor. Sure would have been easier ways of disconnecting it rather than cutting it off!
