can you explain exactly what you mean by "have fire @ points"? What do you mean by "fire"?

I would suggest, knowing nothing else about your symptoms", a new cap, rotor, wires and plugs as a "starting" point along with setting the points gap? Check timing with a timing light.

By your statement "[b:654c4848f0][i:654c4848f0]have fire @ points[/i:654c4848f0][/b:654c4848f0]", it is presumed that the distributor cap has been removed, the starter turned over, and there is spark at the points.

[b:654c4848f0][i:654c4848f0][u:654c4848f0]If your tractor was running before this starting problem[/u:654c4848f0][/i:654c4848f0][/b:654c4848f0], then you might consider replacing the condenser.

By your statement "[b:654c4848f0][i:654c4848f0]no fire at plugs[/i:654c4848f0][/b:654c4848f0]", it is presumed that both spark plugs have been removed, laid against the side of the motor, the starter turned over, and there is no spark at either spark plug.

If replacing the condenser did not solve the starting problem, then check the rotor, cap, wires, and plugs as mentioned below by [b:654c4848f0]nlastovi[/b:654c4848f0].
