630 handle a 10ft Deere 115 disk?

IIRC the 115 was a light tandem disc so it should not be a problem though duals would be nice.

First of all, you better measure the width of your disk again. The smallest model of that series was about 11 1/2 feet. This being said, odds are you can pull it ok. In softer dirt you will know it's back there. Mike

That's kinda what I was thinking too. But what little disking I have done I have no idea how wide they were.

Yes, it probably would..... Until you lowered the disk into the ground!

We pulled a 12 ft 4 inch Kewanee disk with our 4010-D. It struggled on some of the steeper hills in plowed ground until we had the pump turned up to 100-105 HP. Then it would pull them in 5th gear. We did have axle mount duals. Disk had 20" rippled blades on 7-1/2" spacing.

Jim, I won't argue with what you found. All the sales literature I have list the 11.5' size as the smallest available. The only disk of that vintage I have heard of is the 100 mounted disk. I have literature on the 110, 111 and 115 and none list anything smaller. I stand corrected if that is true. Mike

My 1987 Deere disk brochure shows the smaller sizes.

Only 21 ft disk around was pulled by a 1206 back in 1965. 4020's pulled 14-15 ft tops. And 1/3 to 1/2 of the 4020's were turbocharged.
