JD parts in burlap bag at auction

The parts shown were in a small burlap bag found at auction. The JD logo on an attached tag would suggest there parts were
from the 1920's. The wooden parts have various grooves in them. The metal parts seem to fit on the end of the wooden parts
and nails were provided to fasten them. All the metal parts are not the same as some have additional tabs or bends.

Any ideas as to what they are or how used?

The above parts came with a Harvester Works tag. The bag had several of these wooden and metal pieces in them. They are all brand new, never used. Any ideas? Mike
